Which plan is best for me?

Working out what student health insurance plan is best for you is not an easy task, there are many things to consider such as how long do you need coverage for, what benefits are you looking for, do you want a plan that is renewable, will my plan cover me anywhere in the world and will I be able to afford it. Here is a quick guide to our international plans an who they will work for:

• International Student coming to study in the USA
  For those students coming into the USA you have a couple of options. The most popular plan we offer is the Student Secure plan which provides monthly student health insurance for your duration in the USA. The Atlas Travel Insurance plan is also available but benefits do not meet some school requirements and your coverage is limited to just 12 months. If you are looking for something a little more comprehensive you can also purchase the Global Citizen plan, however this will be more expensive and only for students that want more coverage than the Global Student plans.


• US Students studying abroad outside the USA
  For US Citizens who are going to be studying outside the USA the main plan available to you would be the Student Secure which is designed specifically for this situation. You also have the option of the Atlas International Travel Health Insurance plan which provides you with flexible travel health coverage from 5 days up to a maximum of 36 months. If you are going to be studying abroad for a longer period, and would like more comprehensive benefits you should also consider the Global Citizen or Global Citizen EXP plan (which is the same as the Global Citizen but with no USA coverage)


• I am not a student can I still purchase a plan
  Yes, you can still purchase either the Global Citizen, the Global Citizen EXP or the Atlas Travel plan as they are available to anyone.
